I finally bought a new phone last Saturday and I am beyond grateful that I got it with a BIG discount! The original price was Php 9,999 and I must say that I'm lucky to have it for only Php 4,999. I asked the saleslady about it and she said that they are having a promo for that particular phone and that they will still bring back the original price (she didn't say when). I bought it at SM Olongapo by the way. When I got home, I quickly searched the original price of Lenovo S60 it's Php 9,798 in Lazada and Php 11,000 in Ebay. Isn't it great!?

Here it is! Meet my pearl white Lenovo S60. It sports a 5-inch IPS HD five-point multi touch display running Android v4.4 KitKat OS. It has a thickness of 7.7mm and an equally commendable weight of 128g. It is available in pearl white, yellow and graphite grey colours.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A-53 processor housed on Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset. It is paired with a 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

It  flaunts a 13MP autofocus camera at the back which supports LED flash, HDR, face detection and geo-tagging. It is accompanied by a 5MP front facing selfie camera. It houses an internal memory of 8GB which is further expandable up to 32GB. (I took that photo using my Starmobile Astra)

The Lenovo S60 packs a sealed 2,150mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) which claims to render up to 30h of talktime and up to 336h of standby time over 2G. Connectivity options include 4G LTE Cat4 (selected markets), 3G, GPS/A-GPS, USB port, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, Mobile hotspot and Bluetooth.

Here's an unedited photo that I took using my new Lenovo S60:

Verdict
Lenovo S60 is a great smartphone with pretty standard features. One thing I'm worried about is its' non-removable battery, I guess I'll just have to be more careful when charging it just to make sure it will never be over-charged. Overall, the phone is well made and very stylish. It's sleek and lightweight, plus those curvy edges just looks attractive and is sure to turn heads.
