Fairy Skin Derma Facial Set Review

Before we go to the product review, let me give you some background / history of my skin. I have sensitive skin and I was diagnosed with eczema last 2013 (though it is not contagious and I don't have it in my face) I needed to be more careful in putting creams, lotions, etc to my skin. I started having breakouts since last year due to stress and probably hormonal imbalance. I have used different soaps, cleansers, and toners to get rid of my pimples but none of them worked. I thought of treating my skin internally so I started taking Lactezin (anti-acne medicine). I also used Benzoyl Peroxide cream and I must say that those two products are effective; but as they say, patience is a virtue. It lessen my pimples and I didn't get flare ups that much. However, it leaves my skin with pimple marks. I used foundation and concealer every time I go out just to hide those discolorations.
Last August, I learned about Fairy Skin Derma Facial Set; it is making rounds on social media especially on Facebook and YouTube as one of the most promising facial set up to date. Fairy Skin Derma Facial Set is used for the treatment and prevention of severe cases of melasma, pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads by penetrating pores to reduce break outs, eliminate acne-causing bacteria, and remove dead skin cells. It whitens dark spots, blemishes, and other discoloration such as freckles, and age spots to achieve younger looking skin.
My schoolmate, Keizia Hernandez, is a city distributor of Fairy Skin so I asked her about the ingredients of the said product. The toner contains water, ethyl alcohol, alpha arbutin, vitamin C, and niacinamide. The cream contains sodium citrate, lactic acid, alpha arbutin, and niacinamide. She also said that both toner and cream contains rosehip oil, glycerine, retinol, and cetearil alcohol. Fortunately, these key ingredients are useful and so far the best and effective ingredients for my skin. Without any second thoughts, I bought one set and tried it out right away.

My personal suggested tips on how to use Fairy Skin Derma Facial Set: (Please keep in mind that what worked for me may not work for you and vice versa)
- Wash your face with Fairy Skin Derma Soap (use in the morning and at night as your daily cleanser.) Do not leave the soap on your face for too long. I use it in less than 20 seconds. Be gentle and do not rub your face when washing.
- Pat dry your face using a clean face towel or a paper towel. Again, do not rub your face, you just have to pat it dry.
- Wet the small cotton ball with just 3-5 drops of Fairy Skin Derma Facial Toner. (I used 5 drops of toner on my first night and I saw a huge difference on my face after waking up. My cheeks were pinkish and my face has that beauty glow that you can easily tell. I felt a little sting after waking up but it was tolerable. My face also started the mild peeling. I just used 3 drops of toner on my 2nd night.) Use the toner twice daily for a month.
- Apply the toner with one gentle upward motion, 'wag pabalik balik. You don't have to over do it. Do not rub your face with the toner.
- After the toner, let it sit on your face and allow it to dry first.
- Apply a pea-sized amount of Fairy Skin Brightening Cream on your whole face. Apply with an upward motion and apply it lightly. Use once a day preferably before bedtime for a month.
- I use the Fairy Skin Sunblock Cream SPF45 every morning. Same direction, apply a pea-sized amount on your face and apply it lightly. Apply 30 minutes before sun exposure.
After four days of using Fairy Skin, my face cleared up and the bumps disappeared. By that time, I regained my self-confidence and decided to not put any foundation when going out. As of the writing, I only use Maybelline White Super Fresh Powder, lipstick or lip tint, curl my eyelashes and I'm good to go.

Hello po! Fairy skin derma facial set user din po ako. Di pa lang po katagalan.. Nag start po ako last Jan. 25.. Then napansin ko po yung peeling nya sa mukha ko.. Gaanu po ba katagal ang peeling process na to?
ReplyDeleteHello! Bale sa pagkakatanda ko tumagal ng mga 1 week yung mild peeling. Onti lang nilalagay ko na toner saka yung brightening cream. Basta hayaan mo lang kusang matanggal yung dead skin, sis. Kapag may iba ka pang tanong, comment ka lang uli. :)

ReplyDeleteHi! Oo, nakaka lighten talaga sya ng skin at nakaka glow din. :) With regards to your question, I honestly don't know the answer kung 100% organic ba si Fairy. Kasi sa pag kakatanda ko, hindi nakalagay sa box yung ingredients. Bale tinanong ko lang sa friend ko na nag benta sa akin ng product if ano yung mga ginamit sa pag buo kay Fairy Skin.

DeleteUp to now continuous pa rin ba ang pag gamit mo nito? Ilang weeks makikita ang result nito?
Nung first time ko sya ginamit last year, ginamit ko sya for 2 weeks diretso. Then satisfied na ko sa result kaya tinigil ko. Depende sa pimples sis yung duration bago mo makita result. Pero sa akin non 1 week lang nag clear na mukha ko. Tapos lately nag pimples uli ako sa forehead, yung maliliit na bumps. So ginamit ko uli sya (January 20) hanggang ngayon gamit ko sya. This time, 3 days lang wala na yun small bumps. :)

ReplyDeleteHello po! I suggest po huwag niyo balatan yung face niyo, hayaan niyo po sya kusang mag balat. At kapag po nag lalagay kayo nun toner sa bulak, isa o dalawang drops lang po. At ipahid niyo lang po ng sobrang light sa face niyo, upward motion, huwag po pabalik balik. Natural po na may onting hapdi pero dapat po tolerable po yun. I hope this helps po. Kung may tanong pa po kayo, comment lang po kayo uli. :)

DeleteHi, Kent! Tingin ko dahil sa init kaya nagiging yellowish yung brightening cream. Naging ganon yun sa akin after one month mula nun nabili ko sya. Pero nun ginamit ko naman uli, wala naman difference. Sabi nun schoolmate ko so far wala pa daw narereport na may fake na Fairy Skin.
DeleteKung sakali na medyo duda ka don sa brightening cream, I suggest itry mo muna sya sa wrist mo for 24 hours. Kung may mapansin kang hindi maganda, don ka na lang mag decide kung gusto mo pa sya gamitin.

ReplyDeleteHi sis! Bagong bili mo ba yung product? Kasi nung nabili ko yung akin, both brightening cream at sunblock parehong white (sa pagkakatanda ko). Pero after a month, yung brightening cream naging yellowish na sya. I think because of the heat. Ginamit ko pa din sya, wala naman nangyari ba iba sa face ko. Same result nun unang una ko syang ginamit.

DeleteIf ever gusto mo muna mag stop sa Fairy Skin at nag pi-peel pa din, normal lang yun sis. Siguro hintay ka mga 4 - 7 days mawawala din yung peeling. I suggest kung gusto mo mag moisturizer, yung alcohol free ang gamitin mo. Or itry mo muna once, kapag walang effect, ituloy mo. Minsan kasi kapag nag sasabay sabay yun products, yung iba don hindi compatible sa isa't isa kaya baka mairritate yung skin mo.

Bale kung gagamit ka ng Fairy Skin, make sure itry mo muna sa wrist mo (pwede din sa opposite side ng siko or sa bandang likod ng tenga) for 24 hours yung product para makita mo kung may allergy ka dito. DeleteHello. Just wana ask.. it was my second time in using this product.un una po may takip un toner..nitong next order ko po ay iba na un takip. Fake po ba or binago lng? Isa pa po mabaho un toner unlike sa una ko. Tapos hindi ko sure ha.. kasi start lng nun ginamit ko un bago ko na order may unusual ako na nararamdaman.. un sa pag hinga ko po parang masakit sa likod then nanakit binte at arms ko. Di ko sure baka nagkataon lng..pero may nakakramdam po ba ng ganun except saken.. thank u po.

Regarding naman sa pag hinga, likod, binte, at arms, wala po ako naramdaman na ganyan nun gumamit ako ng Fairy Skin. I suggest po itigil niyo muna for one week saka niyo po itry uli. Kapag after one week ganon pa din po ang naramdaman niyo, itigil niyo na lang po ng tuluyan si Fairy Skin. God bless po!

ReplyDeleteHi! Nun nabili ko yung Fairy Skin set ko hindi naman yellowish yun brightening cream sa pagkakaalala ko. Pero I think normal na mag yeyellowish sya due to our weather. Kasi yung akin after one month naging yellowish na sya. Regarding po sa other question niyo, honestly hindi ko po alam kung made in the PH sya. Hope this helps. 😊

ReplyDeleteHello! Sobrang hapdi ba na tipong hindi mo na matolerate? Kung ganon, I suggest ipahinga mo muna skin mo for one week. Tapos kapag gagamit ka ng toner isang patak lang sa bulak, enough na yon. Saka sobrang light mo lang ipahid sa face mo wag pabalik balik. Same sa cream, onti lang tapos isang upward motion lang ang pag pahid. Hope this helps!
DeleteKahapon ng gabi hindi ako gumamit tapos kanina naligo ako derma soap gamit ko but di ako nag toner at saka sunblock. Baka kasi irritate face ko. Nag flat mga pimples ko pero parang dumami ata yung pimple marks :(
ReplyDeleteDapat sis gamitin mo yung brightening cream sa gabi at sunblock sa umaga. Wag mo i-skip yung mga products. Yung sunblock makakatulong kasi yung para hindi masyado mangitim yun pimple marks. Yung brightening cream ay para naman mag dry yung pimples at para malessen din ang pimple marks.

Nagtanong ako sa seller ko before kung okay pa ba yun gamitin and sabi niya pwede pa rin naman daw as long as it is not yet expired. Pero discretion nyo pa rin kung gagamitin nyo yung product or tapon na lang. :)

ReplyDeleteSa umaga lang ginagamit ang sunblock. Yung Brightening Cream at toner, sa gabi lang dapat gamitin kasi pareho silang may retinol content which reacts negatively sa sunlight. The soap, of course, can be used anytime. :)
