15 Ways To Help You Stay Mentally Strong

2:47 PM

Mental strength is built through lots of little victories.  It’s the individual choices that we make on a daily basis that build our ‘mental strength’ muscles. It’s your daily actions that prove your mental fortitude.

When things get difficult for most people, they find something easier to do.  When things get difficult for mentally strong people, they find a way to stay on track. Here are 15 ways to help you stay mentally strong:

1. Remember to tune the critics out and focus only on being the best you can be.

2. Always take a morning walk of gratitude and prayer.

3. Never fear; let your faith be greater than your doubt. Use your faith to fuel positive action.

4. Always visualize success.

5. Always focus your energy on the present moment rather than worrying about the past or the future.

6. Avoid complaining; instead identify a solution.

7. Always have positive thoughts; never allow your own self-doubt to crowd your mind.

8. When you feel all is impossible, know that with God all things are possible.

9. Always think of the people who love and support you.

10. When you feel lost, pray for guidance.

11. Never give up; finish strong in everything you do.

12. When you feel like you can’t do it, know that you can do all things through Him who gives you strength.

13. When you feel like your situation is beyond your control, pray and surrender. Focus on what you can control and let go of what you can’t.

14. Nurture and promote what you love about life. Focus your attention and energy on what’s working, and make more of it.

15. Your passion, love, and curiosity will make a whole new set of experiences possible — open your heart and mind.

What really matters in life is not what we have, but how we use it; not what we buy, but what we build; not what we own, but what we share with the world; not our capability, but our character; not our success, but our true significance.  Live a life that makes you proud — one that matters and makes a difference.
